- Miniware TS101 My current go-to soldering iron. Heats up quick, very compact, and super convenient. A top recommendation.
- Pine64 PINECIL Never used but seen it recommended as an alternative to the TS101. (It's a clone of the Miniware TS100, which itself is a clone of another soldering iron.)
- Weller WE1010NA (70 Watt) Weller's current lowest cost commercial soldering iron. Competitor product to the Hakko FX888DX.
- Hakko FX888DX (65 Watt) Hakko's current lowest cost commercial soldering iron. Competitor product to the Weller WE1010NA.
- Weller WLC100 and Weller WLSK3012A Both of these are repackaged imports, particularly the Weller WLC100, which I have used but as an off label unit. Works fine.
- Solder A or Solder B Both 50 grams of Sn63% Pb37% at 0.8mm. They should both be the same.
- Liquid Flux Overpriced relabeled liquid flux, but if you aren't doing a ton of work this will last you forever. I tend to prefer the liquid flux options now for ease of use.
- Soldering Wick 3-pack or TOWOT Solder Wick Solder Wicks work great, they're hard to beat.
- Cheapo Solder Sucker I have one of these, they're fine, often not as qucik or easy as using the above solder wick.
- Slightly Better Looking Solder Sucker I don't have this one or know anything about this particular one, but it looks better than the normal fare, and not much more in terms of price.
- Barge Contact Cement
